Leading with Compassion - Edition 1 - 10 January 2019

Welcome to the first edition of "Leading with Compassion" a fortnightly guide to becoming a more compassionate and inspiring leader.

In these updates, I will share with you the good, the bad and the ugly of what I learned in my own journey as a leader and now as a coach, mentor and leadership consultant.

So, in this first edition I would like to share with you the definition of leadership which I developed over my years as a Managing Partner and CEO of large law firms.

A truly compassionate and inspiring leader is one who:

·       uses positive energy and compassion

·       to inspire, empower, enable and motivate their people to be the best that they can be

·       in an ethical way

·       in a strategic direction and who is relentless and unstoppable in implementation
